ChargeAcross Town is honored to be part of a DOE Funding Opportunity Announcement of the “Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Joint Office of Energy and Transportation Ride and Drive Electric.”  With itselectricChargerHelp!, SWTCHenergy and CitiFi, Charge Across Town will be working on Accelerating Curbside EV Charging in Justice40 Communities in four cities across the US. 

In its new whitepaper on Community Charging, Gabe Klein, Executive Director, Joint Office of Energy and Transportation, states 

Yes, EV charging is a hurdle we must address, and we are returning to our roots to help in the consumer education and deployment of EV infrastructure. In addition to the DOE curbside charging pilot, we continue our work on the CEC/REACH/ChargePoint program to deploy hundreds of EV chargers at multifamily properties such as apartment buildings and condo complexes across the state. Education around EVs and EV charging is at the core of our work, showing consumers their many options and how charging works.
